Is that box shrinking?
The box has got smaller. There is no other explaination!
Humans have invented this type of box to make we cats feel bad about our bodies. The box shrinks. Do not be tempted to diet, this box is a con, designed by big fat apes who are jealous of our beautiful feline svelteness. Watch out for the Shrinking Desk Drawers and the Shrinking Desk In Tray also!

We think your mom switched out the box with a smaller one just to make you think there's a problem! Or else it shrunk. We know you couldn't have growed that much that quick. Nuh-uh.
