Miss Camille Suzanne - Missing you on Monday

What you see here is the face of an absolutely love-sick cat. Miss Camille Suzanne adores my son, Jeff. Whenever Jeff would walk in the door she would run lickety-split into the kitchen and jump onto the table. Once there, she would begin to rub and purr and drool (yes, drool) and flail around like she was in heat (she's spayed). Jeff would pet her and give her attention but to Camille, it was NEVER enough. She would pester him as the object of her affection until he would walk out the back door for home.

On Friday evening I had my grandsons over (Jeff's sons) while their mom was at a going away party for a friend. The kids and I connected with Jeff in his dorm room (he's in GA taking classes as a Federal officer) to have a little chat and to catch up on news. The minute Jeff's voice was heard on the computer and his face popped up on the screen Camille began to rub and purr and drool and literally swoon until I thought she was going to faint! Whether in person or through the internet, her l♥ve is pure and strong and loyal.

I snapped this photo shortly after we hung up and my grandson began to check his email on my laptop. Camille, still in a self-inflicted l♥ve trance looks so forlorn that the object of her affection went away. Jeff will be home in a couple of weeks. I don't even want to know what she'll be like when he makes his first visit to his mom's home and has to deal with her besotted cat! I might as well not exist!
